Reporting a Bug or Feature Idea in Deckle

Send a bug report or feature idea directly from inside Deckle, with an optional screenshot attachment, from Settings → Report.

Found something broken, or have an idea worth suggesting? You can send it straight from inside Deckle, without leaving the app or hunting down an email address. This is separate from the What's New changelog, which only covers what's already shipped.

What You Can Do

  • Send a bug report or a feature suggestion directly to the Deckle team.
  • Paste a screenshot straight into the description to attach it.
  • Leave your email if you'd like a follow-up. It's remembered for next time, so you don't need to retype it.

How to Send a Report

  1. Open Settings → Report.
  2. Choose Bug or Feature.
  3. Optionally add a short title. It helps the team triage faster, but isn't required.
  4. Optionally add your email if you'd like a follow-up reply.
  5. Write a description: for a bug, what happened and how to reproduce it; for a feature idea, what you'd like to see. This is the only required field.
  6. Paste a screenshot directly into the description box to attach it, if it helps illustrate the issue.
  7. Send. You'll see a confirmation once it's gone through.

A Couple of Things Worth Knowing

💡 Your email is remembered across reports, even though the field itself gets cleared after sending. You won't need to retype it next time.

💡 A screenshot attaches by pasting, not by browsing for a file. Copy an image (a screen capture, for instance) and paste it directly into the description field.

FAQ

Do I need to give my email to send a report?

No. It's optional, and only used if you want a follow-up reply.

Can I attach more than one screenshot?

Yes. Paste as many as you need; each appears as a small thumbnail you can remove individually before sending.

Where does my report go?

Directly to the Deckle team, sent from inside the app.
